I'm trying to populate a scan of all US Common Stocks with a market cap greater than 200 million, but less than 20 billion. For whatever reason, I've been unable to get this work correctly.

I've opened a new EasyScan window, clicked on Capitalization > 200,000,000 & Capitalization <20,000,000,000 ... but get no results. Please help :)

Thanks.

Capitalization is gong to be quoted in unitis of $1,000,000 when it is done this way. So you need to set it to be between 200 and 20000.

If you add Capitalization by clicking on it on the chart, you will need to set it to less than 2000000000.00, but you you add it by choosing Capitalization in the EasyScan editor, you will need to set it to less thon 2000.00.

The rest can be done either by choosing Add Condition in the EasyScan editor and adding PRICE and one of the average volume options in the EasyScan as EasyScan Conditions or by using something similar to the following Condition Formula (you can change the average period as desired).

C < 2 AND AVGV21 > 100000

You can add Capitalization to an EasyScan in two different ways.

If you add it from within the EasyScan, then the values used are in units of $1,000,000. So you would set it to less than 2000.00.

If you click on Capitalization which is plotted on the chart and select Create Scan Condition, then you need to use the actual dollar figure which would be 2000000000.00.

I just want to confirm that I am creating the proper PCF for the weekly crossing the 8ema

(O5+H5+L5+C5)/4 >= XAvgC8 and  (O5,1+H5,1+L5,1+C5.1)/4 <= XAvgC8.1

Thank you!

I am not exactly sure what you are trying to do, but I am pretty sure it is wrong.

You generally just need to set the time frame to weekly in TC2000 v12/v17 in order to create a weekly formula.

I am not sure why you are looking at the O, H, L, and C nor why it is offset by 5 bars.

If you want to offset these values by another bar, you would change the 5s to 6 instead of adding a .1 to the end.
