How to write in PCF the following:

 

7- periods RSI  one bar ago have crossed 50 up

PCF for non wilder RSI13<69.1 last week having just crossed >69.1 this week

Do you need a PCF? You can set up a scan condition from the weekly chart. Click on RSI, and on the drop down is Create Scan Condition. Then select Cross Above, set value to 70, and then add to Watch List as either column or Scan Condition

Thanks for the replies. I need wilder RSI (7 periods) crossing 50 and I need PCF because I will scan intraday

The procedure I outlined above will wotk from an intraday chart, I don't think you need a PCF

If you just want the formula I will provide it below. That said, you are better off using the technique outlined by BillCochrane. You will still need to set the time frame of the Condition Formula just like you would need to set the time frame of the condition created by selecting Create Scan Condition. The Condition Formula will be less efficient than the condition created by selecting Create Scan Condition. For example in most cases, a WatchList Column will have a longer minimum refresh rate than the same condition created by clicking on the chart.

Thanks Bruce. Kindly answer my following questions:

1- I need to scan 60 min bars, so the idea I will scan for setups after the 60 min bar close. What I recall the only way to do that is to come say 5 min after the bar close and run the scan for the previous bar. Is it possible  to scan one bar ago with the scan condition? if yes how

 

2- Is the provided formula for wilder RSI cross up or down? I need separate one for each condition; one wilder RSI one bar ago cross 50 up and one wilder RSI one bar ago cross 50 down

The original condition is for a crossup through 50 for the current bar. The crossdown for the current bar would reverse the > and < signs.

Even in this case however you are probably better off clicking on the chart. You just need to add a 1-period exponential moving average to the RSI indicator with the Offset setting set to 1. This will plot the previous value of the RSI on the current bar. You can then click on the 1-period 1-offset exponential moving average and select Create Scan Condition to create the desired condition.

Would be good to have an function like RSI(), CCI() etc so we can use that function directly.
