I have a wathchlist with an condition in a column with a refresh setting of 1 mins on 15 timeframe.
Say the current bar condition is true. Assume that the next bar condition is false.
Bar closes @ 3:30 PM. Till 3:30 PM the condition is true and hence I should see the check mark appear. Since the next bar is false, there seems to be a delay in the condition getting refreshed.
Does the condition refresh immediately after the bar closes or 1 min after the bar closes (3:31 PM) or at 3:32 PM?
Thank you for your help.

The new refresh should start 1 minute after the previous refresh finishes. This isn't related at all to when a bar closes or starts. So if the most recent refresh finished at 3:29:32, then the next refresh should start at 3:30:32 if the refresh rate is 1 minute.

I see. Thank you for the explanation.
Lets take another example. Say my refresh is set for 10 mins. say last refresh happened at 3:30 PM. Next refresh is supposed to happen at 3:40 PM. Correct?
If I go ahead and manually refresh at 3:35 PM, the next refresh will no longer happen at 3:40 PM but instead happen at 3:45 PM. Is my understanding correct?
Also, is there a way to find out when the next refresh will happen? Can that be displayed on the watchlist window or on roll over so as an user I know that the correct values on the watchlist are current as of a particular time?
Thank you for your help.

If a refresh (be it automatic or manual) finished at 3:30 and the refresh rate is set to 10 minutes, then the next fresh should start at 3:40.
If you do a manual refresh which finishes at 3:35 and the refresh rate is set to 10 minutes then you are correct that the next refresh will not start until 3:45 even if the last automatic refresh finished at 3:30.
There is no built in way to find out when the next automatic refresh will happen.

Understood. Thank you for this information. Very useful. It may also be good to put this information in the documentation for the watchlist to explain how the refresh works. Thank you.....

How do you adjust your refresh rate?

Right click and Edit the watchlist column and click the refresh rate in the dialog that shows up.
