I am using Telechart 7 and the newest version, but in the newest version the simple moving average of 500 day is not dysplayed as in the Telechart 7. And which be the PCF, of a Scan that shows all stocks above the simple moving average of 200 days, also below it. THANKS

The 500 period simple moving average probably is displayed, but only for 1 or 2 bars. This is because TC2000 version 12 only has 500 bars of data available in each time frame before the start of each trading day (additional bars can be added throughout the trading day). This means there aren't enough bars available to calculate more than a few bars of a 500 period simple moving average in most time frames.

The easist way to create the desired conditions in TC2000 version 12 is to add the moving average to the chart. Then click on price and select Create Scan Condition to create the desired condition.

Create Conditions from Your Chart (5:25)

That said, a Condition Formula for price being above its 200 period simple moving average can be written as follows.

C > AVGC200

And a Condition Formula for price being below its 200 period simple moving average can be written as follows.

C < AVGC200
