Hi Bruce,

How would you define the below in a pcf?

-yesterday's close was less than yesterday's lower bollinger band 20,2

-today is an inside bar

Thank you

Todd

Assuming an inside bar is a bar where the entire range of the current bar is both completely contained inside the entire range of the previous bar (the highs or lows could match) and smaller than the previous bar.

H - L < H1 - L1 AND L1 <= L AND H <= H1 AND C1 < AVGC20.1 - 2 * SQR(ABS(C1 ^ 2 + C2 ^ 2 + C3 ^ 2 + C4 ^ 2 + C5 ^ 2 + C6 ^ 2 + C7 ^ 2 + C8 ^ 2 + C9 ^ 2 + C10 ^ 2 + C11 ^ 2 + C12 ^ 2 + C13 ^ 2 + C14 ^ 2 + C15 ^ 2 + C16 ^ 2 + C17 ^ 2 + C18 ^ 2 + C19 ^ 2 + C20 ^ 2 - 20 * AVGC20.1 ^ 2) / 20)

Hi Bruce,

Would you mind converting this to

-an inside bar today (your previous presumption was correct)

-yesterday the bar closed outside the upper BB 20,2

Thank you sir

Please try the following Condition Formula.

H - L < H1 - L1 AND L1 <= L AND H <= H1 AND C1 > AVGC20.1 + 2 * SQR(ABS(C1 ^ 2 + C2 ^ 2 + C3 ^ 2 + C4 ^ 2 + C5 ^ 2 + C6 ^ 2 + C7 ^ 2 + C8 ^ 2 + C9 ^ 2 + C10 ^ 2 + C11 ^ 2 + C12 ^ 2 + C13 ^ 2 + C14 ^ 2 + C15 ^ 2 + C16 ^ 2 + C17 ^ 2 + C18 ^ 2 + C19 ^ 2 + C20 ^ 2 - 20 * AVGC20.1 ^ 2) / 20)
