Per the talking heads on CNBC, this recent pullback of late doesn't mimic a full blown correction, but what is rather termed a "rotation" of funds. I'm assuming this is a rotation in sectors and those industries within the sectors.

My question then, is what condition(s) in an easy scan would you use to best identify these fund movements when scanned against sectors and/or industries?

I'm trying to keep pace with where the funds are exiting and entering during this rotataion.

Thank you.

It depends on your timeframe.

Since we dont know how long trends will last the "Custom date sort" (under "Tools") is probably your best bet.

Create a watchlist of ETFs

XLU, XLP, XLE, XLB, XLF, XLI, XLK, XLY, XLV.

You can pick the range you want to sort.

Using ETF "SPY" (as the market) 3/7/14 till today and 4/3/14 till today are obvious sort points.

You can see XLU, XLP, XLE outperforming on the longer scan and XLV, XLY, XLK underperforming.

Thanks

Is it possible to create a scan on all ETFs and Industries using PCFs. Any pointers will be appreciated. Thanks

radhes,
You would need to copy all of the symbols you want to scan into a Personal WatchList. You could then use that Personal WatchList as the List to Scan in an EasyScan with the PCF as one of its EasyScan Conditions.

So, has the Secrtor Rotation Workspace been removed in the current, newest version of TC2000?  I don't see Workspace in the File drown down menu.  Has it been moved elsewhere?  Thanks...
