I noticed in one of the Version 12 training videos, the instructor had a Watch List which identified "upcomin earnings" stocks.  How do I set up such a Watch List.  Thanks!

The only place to view upcoming earnings in TC2000 version 12.4 is under Note & News | More Feed Options | Corporate Calendar.

So, how did they go about constructing a watch list with stocks that have "upcoming earnings"?

I talked with the customer trainers making the videos and they claimed there was no such WatchList in any of the videos. In which video do you think you saw this WatchList?

The new Version 16 of TC2000 allows us to have the Earnings date in a Column, but I have yet to find a way to show it on the Chart. Also, unfortunately, it appears that the data is highly inaccurate. For example, only 1 of the stocks that reported earnings today were actually listed correctly today (8 Oct 2015). Hopefully, this is just growing pains.

In the meantime, I use the Earnings Calendar on www.Briefing.com . If you Register, you can access them for Free. I then create an Earnings Watchlist for stocks reporting on that date filtering out low Volume stocks.

We've changed the name of the WatchList Column to Next Earnings (as in Next Earnings Date to avoid confusion with Earnings Dates which might include past dates). There isn't a way yet to plot earnings dates on the chart.

finviz.com screener is a good source for earnings. You can screen for stocks whose earnings is next week and add filter for volume, price, market cap and other such parameters. You can even get a list for the ones reporting before market and after market close.
