Hi,

I had Telechart on my laptop about 4 years ago with some loaded strategies. But I stopped trading few months after but now I have got TC2000 Platinum in which I like to transfer all the strategies on the Telechart onto my TC2000.

I phone your support agent few days ago and he said I should download telechart again on my new Desk top and that way I will be able to transfer the strategies onto the new Tc2000.

I did exactly what he told me but discovered that all the strategies were not on the new Telechart I have just loaded on the Desk Top using the same information. 

Although, I still have all the stretegies on the Telechart on my Laptop but I don't want to use the Laptop again and don't want to loose the strategies either.

Please tell me what I should do.

The settings for TC2000 version 7 are stored entirely on your computer unless you specifically backed them up to our server at some point. You can check by selecting File | Backup/Restore TC2000 v7 Files from the menus of TC2000 version 7 and choosing the Import tab. If you select Click here to Import From The Worden Server, you will be given a list of backups on our servers.

If nothing is listed, then this means there is no other option than to re-install TC2000 version 7 on the computer to which it was installed previously as instructed by technical support if you want your settings back. And even then, you will not be able to get your settings back if you completed deleted TC2000 version instead of just uninstalling it. And yes, I know you said you still had all of your strategies on your laptop, but I wanted to be clear so that anybody stumbling upon the topic later will not misunderstand.

Once you have the settings you want setup in a functional copy of TC2000 version 7, you can select File | Import TC2000 v7 from within TC2000 version 12.3 to import your TC2000 version 7 into TC2000 version 12.3.
