Hi, I am by no means a math GURU or even very great at math. I'm not horrible it just doesn't come to me real easy. Anyway I have a PCF written by Technitrader and I am wondering if someone could explain to me what it is trying to disclose. Here is the formula .......BOP8.5 = BOP1.

Thanks for your help

Jon

Your formula is checking for the 8-Period Simple Moving Average of Balance of Power from 5-bars ago being exactly equal to the current Balance of Power.

While it is a guess, I would suspect it will not be true particularly frequently unless the Balance of Power was exactly the same for the 8-bars in a row ending 5-bars ago (as could be the case if BOP was hitting its ceiling of 100 or its floor of -100).

Thank you Bruce,

THis PCF is labeled "BOP Quiet Accumulation". When Large Lots are accumulating stock. Your speculation falls right in line with this.

Merry Christmas!
