Bruce,

In the Webinar:

Webinar: See What's New in TC2000 Version 12.3

tabs are shown and its emphasised how easy it is to change the tab order by right clicking and dragging them. Some time ago I asked if a similar feature could be implemented for workspace tabs at the bottom of the screen but I note that in TC2000 12.3 this feature still isn't available. I have several workspace tabs in use and depending on which PC I use the tabs are in different orders. It seems that the workspace tab order is stored locally on each PC and the only way to order them is to close them all and reopen them in the order I desire, which frankly is downright silly. Could this feature be implemented soon please?

In addition to having TC2000 running on the PC that I use for trading I often have TC2000 running on a laptop purely for monitoring when I'm in another part of the room. A problem with this is that any drawings made on the trading PC don't also appear on TC2000 on the laptop. The only way to refresh TC2000 on the laptop is to close it and start TC2000 again. What is needed is a refresh facility so that the instance of TC2000 running on the laptop can be updated from the TC2000 servers without having to restart it. Could this be implemented please?

Regarding drawing tools, when drawing a rectangle there is no facility for creating a copy of a rectangle with same height and duration, please implement this.

When a chart is created the default options for 'edit price history' don't currently seem to be changable for new charts, so I always have to modify the chart to what I want which is:

Please provide an option to set the defaults for new charts.

Also for 'Chart Color and Grid Settings' the Date Margin defaults to 10% and I always have to manually set it to what I want which is 3% as shown. The option 'apply to...Default for new charts' doesn't work, please fix this.

Thank you.

Thank you for your suggestions and bug reports. I do not know when or if particular suggestions or bug fixes will be implemented.

I have added your most recent post on workspace tab ordering to the original case number 7495.

Your drawing tools suggestions have been submitted as case number 9497.

The ability to save a different chart as the default has been submitted as case number 9498. Note that all loading the default chart does is load a chart from our our servers. I get around this by saving my own chart which I use instead of the default chart wheneven I am creating a new layout (I also use OHLC Bars as I have a significant preference for this plot style).

Your Apply to... | Default for New Charts bug report has been submitted as case number 9499.

Yes, please create a way to copy a Rectangle drawing object in exact size, color, and opacity settings.

Perhaps similar to how the Trendline drawing tool has "Create Parallel Line" - maybe make a popup option in Rectangle to "Create Copy" or "Create Duplicate".

Thank you.

Bruce I guess there is no rectangle tool for the classic (non-browser) version of TC-2000 correct?

No, TC2000 version 7 does not have a rectangle drawing tool.

The drawing tools available in TC2000 version 7 are trendline, linear regression trendline, horizontal trendline, vertical trendline, text, Fibonacci arcs, Fibonacci fan and Fibonacci retracements.
