How do I add  a % sign after my formula for a watchlist?

just a smiple calculation for % up for the period.

(C -O)/O

Can you confirm that the below is correct for "Last months % move"?

(C1-O1)//O1

Thanks,

Ethan

I generally use the previous close instead of the open for this. An Indicator Formula for the Percent Change for the most recent bar would be:

100 * (C / C1 - 1)

If you want to use the open instead, your formula is correct except for not multiplying by 100:

100 * (C / O - 1)

While an Indicator Formula for the Percent Change for the previous bar would be:

100 * (C1 / C2 - 1)

Using the open instead it would be:

100 * (C1 / O1 - 1)

It is not currently possible for a customer created WatchList Column to display a percent sign after the value.

I'm trying to work with prior weeks and months - when I use the formula you gave me in a column It says "daily" and no longer lets me adjust the time aggregation period - the little box for time in the  customze columns area has disapeared.

I'd like Prior months performance etc.

You can edit the Time Frame of the Indicator Formula when you create or edit it. There is a Time Frame drop-down menu available to use in Edit Formula window. If you use an Indicator Formula which has a Monthly Time Frame already set, the WatchList Column will default to a Monthly Time Frame as well.

That said, I cannot think of a reason that a Time Frame option should not be available for a WatchList Column based on an Indicator Formula which you have created when right-clicking on the WatchList Column Header and selecting Edit Columns. Are you sure the desired WatchList Column containing your Indicator Formula is selected along the left hand side of the Edit Columns window instead of another WatchList Column?
