Buy scan:  need for 60 min charts

please make scan formula for 60 minute charts buy and sell

 

Show stocks where close 3 days ago is below upper acceleration band(17) 3 days ago and close 2 days ago crossed above the Upper Acceleration Band(17) 2 days  ago

and close 1 day ago  is above Upper Acceleration Band(17)  1 day ago and close  yesterday > high 2 days ago   and   Williams %R(30) crossed  below -20 today  and close > 7 and  avgvol(30) > 250000

And you can change the Time Frame of the Condition Formula to use this Condition Formula on a 60-Minute Time Frame to look at these values for 60-Minute Bars instead of Daily Bars, but I cannot think of a way to make a Condition Formula to check for the Daily values using a 60-Minute Time Frame.

I just wanted the close for three periods ago for  hourly bars . the acc(17)) ,the 17 is the period length  of the acc band.

Then the formulas as given should work as long as you set the Time Frame of the Condition Formula to Hourly.

BC and BCE came up on my daily scan sell ,I swirched the condition to daily to test it using alll stocks and your scan did not pick them up, could you chaecjh that,

BC and BCE already return true for the second Condition Formula when it is set to a Daily Time Frame. No changes are necessary.

Note that if you originally used the Condition Formula as a WatchList Column or EasyScan Condition with a 60-Minute Time Frame and then changed the Time Frame of the Condition Formula to Daily, that will not change the Time Frame of the Condition Formula in the WatchList Column or EasyScan. You would need to change the Time Frame within the WatchList Column or EasyScan or remove and re-add the Condition as TC2000 version 12.2 makes a copy to use which is not linked to the original.

A quick way to test the results in any Time Frame would be to use one of the Condtion Formulas as the Boolean Formula in a Custom PCF % True Indicator. The Time Frame of the plotted indicator will always be the same Time Frame as the chart.

One thought is that the AVGV30 > is checking for the 30-Period Simple Moving Average of Volume. On a Daily Chart, this is checking for 30-day average volume, but on an Hourly Chart, it is checking for the 30-bar average volume. You may want to divide the volume to the right of the > sign in each formula by 7 if you still want to have these hourly volumes be approximately equivalent to their daily counterparts.
