EMA Crosses Rate this Topic:

Guys I need the following PCF's or EZ scans...

1. EMA 6 crossing above EMA 12

2. EMA 6 crossing below EMA 12

and also

3. EMA 6 crossing above EMA 55

4. EMA 6 crosing below EMA 55

 

and last...

5. EMA 12 crosses above EMA 34

6. EMA 12 crosses below EMA 34

7. EMA 12 crosses above EMA 144

8. EMA 12 crosses below EMA 144

It would be easier in TC2000 version 12.2 to just add the Moving Averages to the chart and then click on them to Create Scan Condition than to create a Condition Formula. The resulting Condition would also be more efficient than a Condition Formula.

Bruce are formulas different for a daily vs a 5 min scan or is th epcf applied to the time frmae being viewed?

The formulas are written in bars and the Time Frame can be adjusted using the Time Frame drop down when creating or editing the formula.

If the Time Frame of the formula is set to Daily, each bar will represent a day. If the Time Frame of the formula is set to 5-Minutes, each bar will represent five minutes.
