What are your Bollinger Band settings?

When you click on Price History, is Color Based On set to Net Change or Open vs Close?

Does the entire candle need to be above the Upper Bollinger Band or just part of the candle (and if just part of the candle, any parts in particular)?

Bruce

My BB settings are Period 20 and a stand dev of 2.  I was looking for part of the candle to be above the BB. I;m trying to find overxtended stocks that are piercing the upper bb and close red.

Thanks

Steve

If Price History has Color Based On set to Net Change:

C < C1 AND C < O AND H > AVGC20 + 2 * SQR(ABS(C ^ 2 + C1 ^ 2 + C2 ^ 2 + C3 ^ 2 + C4 ^ 2 + C5 ^ 2 + C6 ^ 2 + C7 ^ 2 + C8 ^ 2 + C9 ^ 2 + C10 ^ 2 + C11 ^ 2 + C12 ^ 2 + C13 ^ 2 + C14 ^ 2 + C15 ^ 2 + C16 ^ 2 + C17 ^ 2 + C18 ^ 2 + C19 ^ 2 - 20 * AVGC20 ^ 2) / 20)

If Price History has Color Based On set to Open vs Close, you can leave off the C < C1 at the beginning of the formula:

C < O AND H > AVGC20 + 2 * SQR(ABS(C ^ 2 + C1 ^ 2 + C2 ^ 2 + C3 ^ 2 + C4 ^ 2 + C5 ^ 2 + C6 ^ 2 + C7 ^ 2 + C8 ^ 2 + C9 ^ 2 + C10 ^ 2 + C11 ^ 2 + C12 ^ 2 + C13 ^ 2 + C14 ^ 2 + C15 ^ 2 + C16 ^ 2 + C17 ^ 2 + C18 ^ 2 + C19 ^ 2 - 20 * AVGC20 ^ 2) / 20)
