Stochastics scan Rate this Topic:

how would i scan for stochastics under 20 turning up from oversold. is there something pre existing or do i need a PCF for that? im looking for the %K crossing over the 12 period line under 20. is that possible ? thanks for any help.

In TC2000 version 12, you can click on the Stochastic and select Create Condition. Then click on the Condition drop-down to select the specific Condition you want to create for the Stochastic.

Indicators, Sorting & Scanning

In this case, you would need to create two Conditions and then add them both to the same Scan. One Condition would be for the Stochastic crossing up %D and the other would be for the Stochastic less than 20.

You can also create a Condition Formula, but this would require knowing your specific Stochastic settings.
