Hi, im trying to write a PCF for a 10SMA cross of a 30EMA for short and long positions. and an optional tweak that you might feel to in an alternate PCF would be great. also for a 4SMA cross of a 9EMA.  Thank you.   Mike

You are generally better off adding the Indicators to the chart, clicking on them and selecting Create Condition in TC2000 version 12 than creating a Condition Formula. The resulting Condition is usually faster and more likely to match the chart.

Indicators, Sorting & Scanning

If you really need to create a Condition Formula for some reason, a formula for the SMA10 crossing up through the EMA30 could be written as:

AVGC10 > XAVGC30 AND AVGC10.1 <= XAVGC30.1

A formula for the SMA10 crossing down through the EMA30 could be written as:

AVGC10 < XAVGC30 AND AVGC10.1 >= XAVGC30.1

A formula for the SMA4 crossing up through the EMA9 could be written as:

AVGC4 > XAVGC9 AND AVGC4.1 <= XAVGC9.1

A formula for the SMA4 crossing down through the EMA9 could be written as:

AVGC4 < XAVGC9 AND AVGC4.1 >= XAVGC9.1
