Is there a way to add an indicator to an indicator in TC2000 v12.

For example, if I have Rate of Change plotted under my price chart, can I add the moving average of that rate of change indicator into the rate of change section?

Never mind...I figured it out...when you go to add the new indicator you get to select what data series you want it applied to.

cheers.

ok....almost had it all figured out.

Is there a way to apply custom-built indicators or PCFs to other indicators on the chart (instead of just to price)?

Snake69,

You're able to add any indicator to a pane where another indicator already resides; however, I don't know of a way to have a PCF indicator act as a universally applicable child indicator.

You could adjust the PCF indicator formula to reflect the final plot you'd like to see, though - then the 'parent' indicator and the adjusted PCF indicator could be plotted within the same pane.

Best,
Julia

So, couldn't create something like say an indicator that is the [ (50 day simple moving average * 2) + 200 day simple moving average) ] and apply it to a rate of change chart or some other indicator?

No, it is not possible to do so as the Custom PCF Indicator is not a child indicator. The Custom PCF Indicator would need to represent the desired final result and even then would probably not be on the desired scale unless you fixed both the scale of the desired parent and the Custom PCF Indicator to match.
