I need to know if i can write a pcf identifying stocks that are coming off an overbought point. My settings are 9,42,15. I am plotting the macd as a histogram and by overbought I mean a reading showing the histogram bar at an extreme high. I would like to see stocks where the most current bar is a little closer to the zero line than the preceding longer bar.

Please check out this entire thread. There is a basic MACD video, but more important to your request, there are a number of PCF's related to MACD histograms. I'm sure if you check them out, you'll find what you're looking for.

Check out this video and the PCFs that are under it. I think you should have everything you need there:

Let me know if you need more help after you watch/read it.
