The RSI(2) setting on the daily is incorrect when comparing to other platforms such as Fidelity Active Trader Pro and Stockcharts. Fidelity and Stockcharts do not have a smoothing factor and I wonder if this difference is causing the difference. What do I set Stockfinder's RSI(2)to in order to get it to be the same as on other platforms? Is Wilder's RSI(2) actually what is being used? Thank you.

In the Relative Strength Index (RSI) Indicator, you probably want to set RSI to Relative Strength Index - Wilder's Smoothing and the Smooth to 1.

In the Wilders RSI Indicator, you probably want to set the Average Period to 1.

I'm guessing you just want to use Wilder's RSI. That said, all questions, comments and suggestions related to FreeStockCharts.com should be addressed to:
