good call what? the weekly hasn't turned yet. hasn't even broken the 200 day yet, or any important support. there's 4 other red spikes there that all gave false signals.

Signaltap should be applauded for his call BEFORE the supposed "flash crash" at 2:40PM the day he made his original post. No, it wasn't a fat fingered trader that caused the crash, it was the flash trading computers run amok and shows you how extremely fragile the market is. I do have the ability to talk with those in the know and this whole program is a huge house of cards. I'd love for the DJIA to go to 36,000 (and it might get there before the printing presses run out of ink) but the fundamentals are basically catastrophic. Just remember that you can make money with inverse ETF's just as easily as you can make money going up. I am going long only with protective PUTS instead of stop markets because we are entering crazy times...
This conversation reminds of the books that called for the End of Detroit 5 years before Detroit and the American Car industry went down the drain. Everyone thought the author was just a commie or something similar... Guess the authors guessed right??
So why did the market rally today?? Short covering and huge fiat money printing. The Ouzo will wear off and the hangover will be wicked.

the dow has a negative return over the last ten years. seems theres been plenty of money made on the downside.

I loaded the truck on 110 SPY puts yesterday, right after my last post here! : dow30 futs -100 and s/p futs @ -14 !!

9,835 was the LOW from Feb 5th on the dow,a CLOSE under this number is my target and this legdown continues to 38.2% Fib@ 9,421 tomorr? $SPX

todays dow30 candle is very similar to the one from 5/18 but look @ the day b4 now(5/17) = same price action! = Deja-vu? = more pain! $SPX

Hi Signaltap,
First let me say that I appreciate your posts and you've had some good calls. But my question is this..you have predicted or indicated a handful of tops since the rally began last March, but I don't recall any instances where you circled back around to say the market was ready to continue higher.
Is this just a bearish personal bias?

man, I would love to be more positive ( really miss that), but this market still in bearish mode since Oct 9th 2007 ( I call this top too, do a search here) and since April 23th 2010 high you should sell all rallies cause 8,293 (23.6% fib line is coming) Signaltap/Macheterosforvr

also that pop from 10,190 came ON LOW volume which is bearish and 55ema (10,488) is super resistance

I'm bullish at the moment...market rallied off the low in feb on unimpressive volume and gave us a nice profitable trading rally.
