I used the following seeking the 25 day moving average crossing the 50 day moving average. Where did I go wrong?
AVGC25 > AVGC50 AND AVGC25.1 < AVGC50.1

I don't see anything wrong with the formula. Keep in mind that it would detect the 25-Period SImple Moving Average of Price crossing up through the 50-Period Simple Moving Average of Price. If it does not match the Charts, the most likely reasons would be that the Moving Averages are not both Simple or are not both of Price (in the second case, they would most likely be of another Moving Average).
