Basic Question: How do I update SF5 Gold data without restarting the application? and when will we have the delayed intraday datafeed on daily bars (a la Telechart)?

The gold data updates as it's available. No need to restart.  Delayed Gold is on the table once version 5 goes live.

Having seen the nice intraday streaming data from BATS delivered by FreeStockCharts.com, I'd suggest that SF Gold Daily Data not be delayed.

IOW, SF Gold would still be a Daily bar subscription (not 1m, 5m, etc.), but it would be a real-time Daily bar, making it tradable in SF for those who want to take trades based (only) on Daily TA.

Currently, those who want to act on Daily TA can do their analysis after the close and then use some other application tomorrow during the day to trade when/if chosen levels are hit.  I daresay this is terribly common.  (It's also effective, and reasonable from a recurring expense POV.)

If SF Gold subscribers had a real-time Daily bar available, they could do their trading right from SF (for supported brokers).  I would see this as a positive for everyone.

In particular, I think this would offer:

1.  a perk for present and long-time SF Gold subscribers, who will be very happy to have the new feature

2.  a highly advertisable capability that enhances the image of the platform

3.  a compelling story to attract new customers who may be otherwise leary of subscribing to yet another partial solution

4.  first-mover advantage
