The trainers can't give setting, interpretation or investment advice. I'll move this topic to the Stock and Market Talk forum so other traders will be more likely to see it and comment.

You can set "optionable=true" which will filter your lists to optionable stocks.

Otherwise, it comes down to filtering stocks for other patterns which indicate to you a stock is moving up,down, or sideways.

So, I think you are going to have to give more specifics on your question before you will get many replies here.

It  might be helpful to say you want to use a certain option strategy, Does anyone have a screen/filter for  this strategy.

I want to trade options. To go long with both puts and calls. Does anyone have a scan or filter for this type of trading?

what you have described is not a type of trading or a strategy.  It's like you said "does anyone have any scan or filter for buying and selling stocks".  You see?  All scans are for buying and selling stocks.  That narrows it down to thousands of potential strategies or scans.

Telechart is useful for finding stocks when you already know exactly what you are loooking for.  There are no scans that will tell you how to trade.

Simple.  Look or scan for stocks in an uptrend and/or down trend.  When the stock retraces to its 20 or 50 day simple moving average and does a candlestick reversal (ie; bull/bear engulfing, hammer/shooting star), buy the requisite call or put.  Sell in a few days for a profit.  Good luck.
