I see you looked into my one question, Bruce, and moved the other thread to the "Bug" forum.  Thanks--I'll wait and see if I get a response over there.

The other question was about filtering on a particular historical date.  I want to take a set of rules-based criteria and filter a watch list on a particular historical date to see which stocks pass.  Can this be done?  Obviously SF is able to see if a set of rules were met in the past--you can even have SF "show on chart" when this is so.  I just don't know if an entire watch list can be filtered at once.

I do not know of a way to do so. Creating a BackScanner that uses a Combo Rule with all of the Rules in your Filter as a Buy Condition set to 0 Bars from Now along with a Trade Length Trade Based Rule set to Exit 0 Bars from now should create a list that is very close to what you want when viewing the Active Watchlist Results under Pointer Date in BackScanner however.
