I seem to have lost the use of my F keys for bringing up my chart templates..have rebooted to no avail..any thoughts

You should be able to assign a Hot Key to a Template by selecting the Template using the drop-down menu and then selecting Chart Template | Edit. In the lower left hand corner of the Edit Chart Template window there shoud be an option to Set Hot Key are Change Hot Key.
