I have a screen name on Free trading videos.

if yo send me a PM I can get you a coppy of mine.  It's pretty simpel to create them in excell however.

Basicaly set it up so that the entry price minus your stop price is less than (by some function say 2:1)  the entry to your target price and then you can say that figure will be X percent of total cash capital and then you get a risk based positioin sizing also.

Wow, you guys are sophisticated traders.  I've never seen anything like that.  I just look at the charts and draw lines to plot entry/exit points.  I'll have to study this Risk Calc business. Thanks for the link, Showme!

EXCEL?

yes sorry .. bad typist.

I love Excel.  I have put togeatehr a workbook that gives me the order entries depending on input for price parameters and support resistance.. tells me my risk reward in percentages, actual dollars and I select a percentage risk to addopt .. which I fluxuate depending on myperformance .. dial it back when I suck and turn up the heat (gradualy and methodicaly)  when i'm doing well.  I try to dial back at a faster rate than I turn up the heat.

Selecting the fixed % risk .. in this case .005 X total cash (no margine now either) and the spread sheet tells me how much to buy also.

later the numbers frommy trade diary page are carried fwd to a trade log page with an equity line and grpahs of my performance.

All done in excell.  I wan't to put the sortable columns in and the quick study stuff in .. so that I can pull up a study off all the issues with the same ticker or all the issues with notes on what ever.. or count how many had notes on the TSV column that read "good" and were loosers or winners.  but I haven't had time for that then upgraded to Excel 2007 and everythign is moved around and changed on me.
Grpahics are cooler for charts (that I don't use) however.

You always get what you pay for - I am sure you must understand that.  As for free - there is nothing really free.
