GNBT (don't laugh, they may have finally gotten their corporate act together)
APWR
QRCP
I'll add more later. These look pretty good.
My returns have been fabulous lately. Just wanted to share the wealth.

I have been watching GNBT for some time and like it.
It has pulled back from a fib to the 50% line at 0.45, rebounded to 0.51, and tested the 50% line again. If it rises to the top of the fib at 0.65 then the potential profit is ((0.65 - 0.45) / 0.45) -1 = 44%. A good place a stop is the low on 12/12 (0.43). The risk would be (0.45 - 0.43) / 0.45 = 4%. The Reward/Risk Ratio is then 44 / 4 = 11
TSV and MS have been flirting with the sma. When they cross up above their sma, I will probably buy.
*************************************************************
QRCP is trading in a relatively narrow range defined by Linreg(21,30) (0.41 - 0.30) and has the lower boundary of BBAND(15,15) twice. TSV and MS are flirting with their smas.
There is minor resistance at 0.65 and major resistance at 2.63.
If TSV and MS rise above their smas and price closes above the trading range then setting a stop at the top of the trading range would be a safe entry for a trade.
Assuming an entry point of 0.41 (the current top of the trading range) then the potential profit at the minor resistance is ((0.65 - 0.41) / 0.41) - 1 = 42%. The potential profit at the major resistance is ((2.63 - 0.41) / 0.41) - 1 = 444%.
I will watch this one closely.
********************************************************
APWR is trading in a rising channel defined by Linreg(21.30). The channel is 1.46 wide.
A long position entered at the bottom of the channel (currently 4.95) and sold at the top could have a profit of 1.46 / 4.95 = 29%.
The channel is rising 0.09 per day. From the top of the channel the price typically declines for four days before reaching the bottom of the channel. Using these figures, in the declining phase, the price would drop 0.36 (4 * 0.09) and decline to 1.10 (1.46 - 0.36) before reaching the bottom of the channel.
A short position taken at the top of the channel (currently 6.06) could be expected to produce an eighteen percent profit (1.10 / 6.06).

Good calls on all three, Tobydad

I just noticed that GNBT had pulled back to the 61.8% fib line instead of the 50% line.
The analysis remains the same.

Yes, sure did. Got in at 0.38, stopped at 0.52. 36% profit within a month. I'll take it. It's not quite ready to get back in just yet but I'll keep watching.

No, (although it would have been a good short), I was in and got out but it looked like it was going to take off upward right away. But it dropped so we have to wait a while.
Sorry for the confusion. I probably should not post at all anymore as I don't have time to be here alot anymore. I guess, going forward, all of my posts should be caveat emptor.

Tobydad
I hope you will continue to post.
I, for one and I am sure most others, look on these posts as suggestions only and do my own analysis and then decide if I want t enter a position.
As you can see from my prior post, I was considering buying nto GMBT. I was only waiting for some confirmaation.
I hope that you. apsll, and others will continue to post results of your scans and let us take advantage of them if we choose to do so.

I second what Bcraig is saying Tobydad. Do not let the negative fools be the end of us. We are the true members of this site. Remember back in the days when you Kokoda and I along with others were able to post without the small and insignificant band of current sycophants that seek only to create disharmony. If the original members just band together and take your advice and ignore them then they will only have themselves to talk to and we can get this forum back to the way it was.
I made the mistake a while ago to take them on and boy did that not work out well. I am not going to make that mistake again. We need your brand of technical analysis around here; you are part of what this forum is all about and we will not let you leave.
Please consider standing with us and just saying no to them from now on. That means do not post on there threads. When they disrupt our with there "BS" then we act as if they never posted and just continue on with the thread.
We were luck for about a year and a half, we had total bliss and no negativity. I wonder what happened and why?
Please stay and continue to share. We all used to make a lot of money together and we can do it again.
Give it some thought buddy. Hope you had a good Christmas....
Apsll.

Tobydad, I am a rookie trader and fairly new to telechart, but I really enjoy reading your posts and seeing what stocks you, bccraig, and apsll are watching and why. Sorry I don't have much to contribute, but I will someday. Just letting you know that you guys' posts are very much appreciated.

I'm more than happy to stay around. I didn't mean that I was upset or offended, just concerned that I don't confuse anyone. As long as I am sure that everyone understands that I do not mean to buy on the spot just because I mention a ticker symbol, then I'm good. I would feel sick if I found out someone, some new trader, had bought into GNBT, for example, just because I posted it here.
apsll, nice to see you back.
I pray everyone had a great Christmas and is looking forward to a great New Year. I, for one, am feeling particularly blessed as all 10 of our children were able to be here all together for the first time in several years. And the blessing is multiplied because our older children all lead the family with the idea that we would give no gifts to each other (except for the very youngest ones) and, rather, give to the poor.
So two of my sons, for example, gave a goat and 2 chickens to a family in El Salvador in my name. That was my Christmas present from them...and a very fine one it was indeed.

Tobydad, here is my take on your list. I know that you want nothing short of honesty so here it goes.
I love MEG & APWR I think that they both show signs of accumulation and are ready right now for a rally (Big or small).
I like QRCP it is forming a nice triangle pattern.
MTEX (to thinly traded for my taste)
ZLC has gone from 30 to 3 in three short months and has zero instituional support so I am a little worried about touching that one.
I will be watching all of them.
Let me know what you think of my list for next week - (I started a new thread)
Good luck
Apsll.

ZLC up 46% since posted.
MEG up 112% since posted
APWR about break even
QRCP up 81% since posted.
MTEX up 10% since posted
GNBT down since posted --- curse you, arch nemesis!
Anyway, pretty good bunch overall.

For a company that makes no money, those managers at GNBT are making a killing. I would not buy this stock just for that:
Ms. Anna E. Gluskin , 58
Chairman, Chief Exec. Officer and Pres |
$ 729.00K |
$ 0 |
Ms. Rose C. Perri , 42
Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer, Sec., Treasurer |
$ 576.00K |
$ 0 |
Dr. Gerald Bernstein M.D, 76
VP of Medical Affairs |
$ 200.00K |
$ 0 |
Mr. Mark Fletcher Esq., 43
Exec. VP and Gen. Counsel |
$ |
Besides, no offense, but $0.33/share is really slumming. Good luck!

Nice picks TobyDad ! Of course now me challenge is two fold to reverse engineer how you picked those and figure out how to program that into telechart , in fact figuring out how to put anything into telechart would be a plus right now , i really should make use of the subscription.
