Hey guys. I'd like to know if this is possible:

To have a linear regression trendline plotted with volume bars from point X to present, where X=the beginning of the most recent price "zig" using the zig zag indicator. This should automatically adapt the linear regression trendline length to the beginning of each new signifigant price move to provide a visual confirmation or non-confirmation of that price move via volume participation.

Thank you!

I haven't found a way to automate this process. However, I did create a LR line on Volume which begins at a date pointer. When I place the date pointer on the last "zig" (which is on price) it draws the LR line on Volume from that point to the present. This work around still requires you to place the date pointer manually, but does accomplish the rest of what you wanted.

I shared the chart as ZigZag Lin Reg in the Blocks Shared folder. (To access, click the Share menu in your Blocks, type ZigZag in the search, choose the Chart tab and double click on the entry to open it in your Blocks. To save the chart to your computer use the Save icon at the top of the chart.)

thanks,

zawadee152,
You should be able to Open the attached Chart directly into a running copy of StockFinder.
