Hi

1) After I have filtered out my stocks using the conditions etc, If I then want to narrow the list down using a visual check is there a way for me to flag/unflag the stocks and then copy to another watch list like in TC.

2) is there a way to export a watch list in block to excel or notepad similarly can we do the reverse ie import from excel or notepad into blocks

thanks
Jay

In Blocks, flagging a Stock automatically places it in another Watchlist. You can have as many different types of Flags as you want with each Flag representing a different Watchlist.

You can right-click on a Watchlist and select Copy. This will allow you to choose Current Symbol, Selected Symbols (assuming you have selected symbols in the Watchlist) or All Symbols. This will copy the symbols into the Windows Clipboard where they can be pasted into another program.

That's great but if i want to export more than just the symbols, like other columns, Last price, Industry group, Exchange, etc. What have to do?

Unfortunately that can't be done gallo.

What we have been told in the past is that Block's agreements with their data providers prohibit the further distribution of data via export from Block's.
