does telechart make adjustment to cash distribution in a stock or ETF? for example IFN had a cash distribution of $8 per share, but the chart does not recognize it and show a large decline in the technical indicators. It seems misleading to not take it into consideration.

TeleChart's price data is not normally adjusted for these events (although it has been in certain circumstances such as the MSFT Special Dividend on 11/15/04).

Email support told me: "Per company policy symbols are not adjusted for dividends.  We do make individual exceptions for especially large dividends."  I take it as this: for both TC and Blocks price data, stocks, ETC/Closeends and mutual funds, Worden does not normally adjust the price for dividends,  capital gains and distributions (for MFs), unless it is larger than a predetermined big percentage, like 10%.  As a result, on ex-dates, charts would show a drop which actually not a equity line declien if you were long it.  Is this an accurate recap?  I am sure you have all the data for all sorts of distributions.  I don't understand this policy since it does not make good business sense.  Could you elaborate? Thanks!
