The P/E ratio for Canadian Stocks is called CA Close Price/Earnings Ratio.

To add the Fibonacci Tool, select Start | Worden | Fibonacci Retracements.

When I followed your instruction for P/E ratio another box open asking for imput. What should I use. If I use price history then all I am getting is stock price. What I want to do is check hisorical data of P/E ratios for the stock to see if it is trading above or below historical P/E ratios.

Thanks

I cannot reproduce this on my system. Please right-click on the CA Close Price/Earnings Ratio Legend (name on the chart) and select Properties. Is there a Canadian - Close Price divided by Earnings Ratio Block? If so, what Blocks are connected to it?

There is a box for Price/earing ratio but what source of input do I need to get correct P/E ratios. Price history input does not give me correct format for P/E ratios.

Bruce do you have Brock program? If you do please check and find out how to get P/E ratios for canadian stocks.

Thanks

Yes, I have Blocks with Canadian data. When I add the CA Close Price/Earnings Ratio Study it does not ask me for any additional input. It just works.

When I look at the Block Diagram, there is a Canadian - Close Price divided by Earnings Ratio Block in the Block Diagram. It takes Symbol input and cannot accept Price History as an input because Price History outputs Date & Number Series data instead of Symbol data.

My first thought was that you might not have Canadian Investor data (and not have Canadian specific Blocks as a result) but I checked your account and it should be active.

Please contact technical support to see if they can figure out why the CA Close Price/Earnings Ratio Study from the Web Library is not working correctly for you.

All e-mail communication sent to support@worden.com during business hours (Monday through Friday 9AM-11PM and Saturday and Sunday 9AM-3PM ET) should be answered within 20 minutes of arrival. For an even quicker response to tech support questions, we recommend calling our voice line at (919) 408-0542 (there is no phone support on Sundays, some Market Holidays or after 9PM ET on weekdays).
