Hi gang,

Is it possible to create a PCF that will allow me to determine when a given stock's On balance Volume value crosses above an N day moving average of that value?

Thanks!!

No problem. Some Examples:

This will be true if OBV has crossed up through its 10 day avg today.
OBV1 > OBV10 AND OBV1.1 < OBV10.1

This will be true if OBV has crossed down through its 50 day avg today.
OBV1 < OBV50 AND OBV1.1 > OBV50.1

This will be true if OBV has crossed down through its 5 day avg 2 days ago.
OBV1.2 < OBV5.2 AND OBV1.3 > OBV5.3

Ooops, just realized you want to know when for a specific stock. To do that just create a percent true indicator with the following formula.

OBV > OBV10 AND OBV1.1 < OBV10.1 where 10 is the avg period. When the indicator value is one a crossover has occured
