I recently purchased a new computer with the Windows Vista operating system. I installed TeleCharts 2007 and worked out some initial problems with additional installations each time I opened the program. Now I still have the following problems:
1.)Cannot permanently delete a Watchlist nor remove symbols from a watchlist.
2.)Cannot permanently delete any Trendlines. When I delete them they disappear from the screen only temporarily. The trendlines will return after I change timeframe or go to a different stock and then return.
3.) Task bar is getting weird after a few hours of TC 2007 use. The TeleCharts title window on the taskbar moves to the start button area and is not useable after a few hours.
Hopefully you will have some fixes to these problems if others are experiencing them too. If you were unaware of these issues I hope this note helps you. Any help you may offer will be appreciated. Thank you.

Have you had a chance to try the suggestion of starting TeleChart using the Run as Administrator option made after you mentioned these issues in TeleChart and Windows Vista?

Yes. Downloading, installing and running all as administrator has not helped. In fact, the problem with "finishing installation" with each start-up of the program only occurred after I downloaded and installed after right clicking internet explorer and running as administrator. By-the-way, I am the only user of this laptop and I only have one user which has administrator priviledges.
I have resolved the "finishing installation" problem however, I continue to experience the watchlist and trendline problems. Now I am also experiencing a new problem with chat and forums. Basically the problem is that I don't have any chat at all. The groups I belonged to no longer appear and I cannot even get All TC-Net.
I am not very happy with the inability of this program to work with Windows Vista and I am very anxious and look forward to these bugs being worked-out. If anyone has experienced any of these problems and corrected them I would love to hear from you.
Thanks again.

Bruce - Sorry about my previous post today in this topic. I went back to review the Windows Vista topic and read your post on running Telecharts with Admin priviledges always. I had not taken the steps you listed prior to my last post. I have since followed you directions and they worked like a charm! As I posted in the Windows Vista topic "Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!"
I no longer have the watchlist or trendline problems. Unfortunately, I do continue to experience problems with the chat. Basically I have no chat although the window is there. The only chat channel option I get is Active Symbol. When I select it in the settings area (hammer icon), I get nothing in the chat window. I've tried to post a test message and I don't see anything. Maybe you can work a little more magic for me?
Thanks again.

You're welcome. I have provided some additional instructions in the original TeleChart and Windows Vista topic.
