I downloaded the new TC2005 and ran into several problems.

1. I tried to import from TC2000 only specific watch lists and PFC's from those listed but I found no way to do it...plus TC2005 locked up when I tried to click on a specific item.(what does "count" mean)?

2. All of my scans set up on the 1-10 tabs are gone and replaced by Worden setups.

3. All of my custom indicators I had setup under the price charts are gone...again replaced by Worden setups.

4. When I update ALL 7000+ stocks are updated on all my criteria. How do I specify only group I want to work with with?

I spent a lot of time and effort on my setups.Do I have to remove all the Worden setups and start over again with mine?

When you bring up the Import dialog, you have the choice of importing everything, or you can do it by category (based on the tabs across the top). For instance, if you click on the WatchList tab, you can click at the top to import all of your watchlists, or you can click on individual WatchLists to import them one at a time.

When you select an individual item like that, you should get one of two responses:

1) A box that says Import Complete
2) A box that indicates that a WatchList of that name already exists in TeleChart 2005, asking if you want to replace it or rename it.

If, when you click on a specific item to import, one of those two things does not happen, you will need to contact our support department. I just tested this function, and it is working as described on my machine.

Support can be reached via email at support@worden.com or by telephone at (919) 408-0542. Hours: 9AM - 9PM EST.

Oh...and when you update your PCF's, you should see an indication that it will update All Items in System. If that's not what you want, then click where it says All Items in System, and from the menu, select the list of stocks you would like to update your PCF's for.

Doug...And what about having to replace all the tabs and charts of indicators?

Sunbird:

What I described for WatchLists works for all of the other items as well. I just tested the Chart Templates tab. It listed all my templates. I clicked on Chart Template 12. It said I already had one in TeleChart2005 named Chart Template 12..should I import it anyway, or give this a new name. I said import anyway, and presto...it was automatically in TeleChart2005 exactly the same way it was in TC2000.

Give it a try for each of the tabs on the import dialog. If it doesn't work as described above, contact the support guys.

Bottom line...you should not have to re-create anything TeleChart 2005 that you had in TC2000.

I see that TC2005 created a new directory, can I delete the old folder for TC2000? I use a program that scans for TC files and it picks up the TC2000 before it sees the TC2005.

Please advise.

You will want to continue to download and use the old version of TeleChart until your program is setup to read the new version.
