If Wilder's RS is set at 14 for RSI period, where do I set average period? And should I using smoothing? I'm trying to get my Telechart RS indicator to look the same as my 14 day RS indicator in my stockcharts chart. Thanking you in advance for your time.

SwingTradingToday,

You need to select Wilder's RSI in Telechart.

And in the same window where you set the RSI period you also specify the average period. And yes, you need to use smoothing if you want it to look like the one in stockcharts.

Be sure you use Wilder's Smoothing. You likely want an average period of 1.

Does stockcharts tell you the settings they use?

No, they don't show anything except 14 day.

Then use Wilder Smoothing and a period of 1.
