 I am trying to verify if LFC is actually splitting in 2 days. I can't seem to find it anywhere but here and would like to know if that has been substantiated in any way.

 Where did you hear this? I never heard about a split.

I only heard that they were creating a new IPO on the
Shanghai exchange.

 The stock chart in TC shows an 8 for 3 split on 12/29. Another trader I know also said he couldn't find it anywhere that's why I wanted to know if anyone else heard this.

I just checked the split calendar on yahoo finance and
you are partially correct.

The split is a 2 for 1 on 12/29.

Wow, this could be huge play in January!

 Just checked earnings.com and they show a ratio of 2.67 - 1. Multiply that x 3 and you get 8 for 3. It should get exciting either way.

 intersting stock if no real statistics for charting , put a bid in for 400 at 70 in a.m. how Much of this is hype ? any fundamentals for insurance and the Chinese mainland ? In MPEL for 500 at 20.50 Are they going to bet on the slots or life insurance ? Good Luck to all next year is the Year of Tghe Pig in the Chinese calander hope we all don't get slaughtered !

 hi, could anyone verify that the recent lfc split ratio was 8/3? i read all over that 2/1 applied. where can one get an official source for that type of particular info? thanks
