Is there any way to test the width of price channel? I'm trying to set up a scan that includes width of price channel as one of the crtieria. Thanks.

TeleChart has Bollinger Bands, Linear Regression Channels, Envelope Channels and Custom Price Channels. It is possible to create Personal Criteria Formulas to duplicate most of these.

I do not know of a method to duplicate Envelope Channels using PCFs.

The formula for Custom Price Channels is a multiple of the Channel Width Formuala based on the Width Setting as long as the Smoothing Average is set to 1. If the Smoothing Average is not 1, it will be based on a Moving Average of the Channel Width Formula. The practicality of writing a PCF will depend on the Channel Width Formula, Smoothing Average and Average Type.
