devoibew,

Short covering would more likely cause stock to go up, not down.

I own some of IIP .I see its at the 50 moving avg.I;m hope it will bounce of the 50 moving avg.But the volume is real big now . I do think it well move down more.Usely I would sell a stock went it hit 7% loss but for some reason I kept this stock.I will have too stop breaking my rules

I FEEL YOUR PAIN, DID THE SAME EXACT THING. I HAD BEEN DOING SO WELL WITH IT IN THE PAST. I GUESS THATS ONE OF THE RULES ALSO, " DONT FALL IN LOVE WITH A STOCK".

IIP is just in a light volume pullback (catching its breath). This looks like a classic place to get in. If you don't mind risk, buy as close to the 20 day lower bollinger band as you can. If you like less risk, put in a buy stop order for a penny over yesterday's high, or even safer, just over the 50 day simple moving average.

IIP announced a 1 for 10 stock split. I consider this to be bearish.I sold into what I thought was shorts who
bought on Friday.Check the high.

rem ..I am with you on IIP. I think that the reverse stock split is a play to get it on the NASDAQ (has to be $4 to be listed). Could be good in the long term , but would only day trade it now. (it nearly always gives 3-5% a day trading on the 15 min chart ). This one is ceasing trading on July 10th for the stock split.
