I am a long time TCNet User and have found ways to use realtime data to find the earliest start points for big up movers. Unfortunately I have to use an additional trading platform and a seperate data feed to do it. I use QuoteTracker and sort my 80 stock watchlist in realtime using $ change.
Is there a way to do it with a custom $ net change indicator in TCNet?
The Net RT for $ net change will not sort. Any ideas and help is greatly appreciated. Troy Huggins

Set your chart time frame to an intraday period, such as a half hour chart. Right click on Price, and select Sort By. Use a sort method of Net Change, and a choose a net change period (number of bars). Make sure to check the box that says Use Realtime Data. Sort.

This worked fine for me. It ranked my watchlist according to the net change over the specified number of bars.

Doug It worked. I suppose it will do the trick, will test tomorrow.

Is there a way to sort by Vol % ? Vol % is
realtime vol today / avgV50. needs to update every 30 sec.

Thanks

You should be able to plot the following as a custom indicator:

V/AVGV250

Check the Center Zero Line box.

Now sort by this indicator, using a Sort Method of Actual Value. Do this on a daily chart, check the box for realtime data, and set the Sort Refresh Frequency to 30 seconds.
