I know this is probably staring me in the face, but where can I find the advance and decline statistics that Mr. Worden used in his notes for each the various indicies he looks at for each day...eg DJ30 20 advancers and 10 decliners...

Followup question...I am going to start to enter these into a spreadsheet to follow trends...is there a way ...beside looking at past reports to get these statistics for prior days for each of the indicies or industy grouping that he looks at...

Appreciate your feedback.

I believe Mr. Worden sorts the component WatchList by PRICE PERCENT CHANGE TODAY. You can scroll down the list then make the last symbol with a positive chaneg your active symbol. In the lower left corner it will say X of X in WatchList. The first number will be the number of tickers that were up that day.

Going to the archives will be the best way to get the older data.

Here is video on sorting if you need to review it:

You might find the Advance-Decline Indexs useful. For example, look at $NYAD. If there are an equal number of stocks on the NYSE advancing and declining, this index will be 0.
