I'd like to create a AD line using All optional stocks . I created a watch list and some pcf's for advancer and
declines ,but I'd like to be able to plot this as a line on a chart . Just wondering if this is possible ?

OK , thanks . I'll post a simuliar question on the Ninja forum .
|
I was looking at a 3 day chart on Ninja Trader , with a 34 EMA . Many of the indices and or like SPY
tagged the 34 EMA on the 6th or 7th of Jan . When I looked at a 34 EMA on telechart 3 day chart it was no where near price for the same date . I had to change it to something like a 23 EMA to get it to match up
with the other charting package . I know there's an original 'EMA and then there's a more modern EMA .
I'm just trying to figure out why there's such a big difference in charting packages ?
Thx .

QUOTE (diceman)
You are probably getting a divide by zero error.
You can try adding a small value to the (H-L)
side so it can never be zero. Like this:
(C-O)/(H-L+.0001)
Once you plot as a custom indicator you can select the smoothing
average and type.
Thanks
