Topic: pcf for volume over 25 day moving average
Posted: Thursday, February 9, 2012 11:32:37 AM
I do need volume for exponential moving average.  Thanks for catching that.

So volatility is under price volatility.  I was just looking under volatility.

As usual you are a great resource.  Thanks very much.

Sorry Bruce.  I guess I was a little blurry eyed from surfing charts last night.  I meant low volatility.  The bottom 25%.  I was watching a Martha Stokes video and I think she was using StockFinder and she created a scan of common stocks between $10 - $20 with volume above the 25 ema and all stocks in the lower 25% of volatility.  Since I now have a pcf for the 25 ema all I lack is the low volatility pcf. Thx.

So I need to go in and check all my scans in TC2000v12 and make sure the volume is correct?

Were the formula's imported from TC2000v7 to v12 automatically corrected to accomodate this volume issue?  Thx.

1.  I had many formula's in TC2000v7.  When they were imported to TC2000v12 were they changed to accomodate the fact that more zero's are used in TC2000v12.

2.  Also,  I have a formula I am putting into TC2000v12 but it is written in TC2000v7.  Do I need to add more zero's to the 100's and 1000's that are in the formula?   Do I add two zero's?

formula example:  (100*(C-C1)/C1)>2 and V>=1000 AND (100*(C1-O1 etc......

Is there somewhere I can read about volume buzz?

Also, working in TC2007 with a watchlist, is there a good way to read volume action upon the open?  I would like to set up a couple of columns devoted to volume and price change.  Thx.

Working in a watchlist, what is a good way to view volume upon market open in TC2007.  I want to see what all my watchlist stocks are doing.

Also,  I would like more infomation on Volume Buzz in TC2000.  How do I know a stock moving on good volume.  I see the percentages of volume buzz but don't have a good yardstick to know what they mean.
Is volume buzz accurate on the open.  I've heard not so.  Thx.
