Working in a watchlist, what is a good way to view volume upon market open in TC2007.  I want to see what all my watchlist stocks are doing.

Also,  I would like more infomation on Volume Buzz in TC2000.  How do I know a stock moving on good volume.  I see the percentages of volume buzz but don't have a good yardstick to know what they mean.
Is volume buzz accurate on the open.  I've heard not so.  Thx.

To add to Cainmtrading's question, is volume buzz calculated for pre-market hours too?

Volume Buzz is not calculated using pre or after market data. Volume Buzz is the percent difference between the current volume for the day and the percent of day which has passed multiplied by the average volume.

Is it "accurate" early in the day? It is difficult to say. Actual intraday volume for most stocks is U-shaped. There is higher volume at the beginning of the day and the end of the day than during the middle of the day. The Volume Buzz indicator uses a linear percentage of the day in its calculations, so very early in the day, it would probably be slightly overstated compared to the actual average volume up until that point in the day.

The best way to view volume for a watchlist would probably be to use it as a WatchList Column and then scroll down your WatchList.

Is there somewhere I can read about volume buzz?

Also, working in TC2007 with a watchlist, is there a good way to read volume action upon the open?  I would like to set up a couple of columns devoted to volume and price change.  Thx.

You may want to review the following topic from the TC2000.com Online Help Files for more information:

Volume Buzz

As to what WatchList Columns you might want to add, I really couldn't say. The trainers can't give setting, interpretation or investment advice. Just choose what you would find useful for your particular trading strategy.
