Topic: A Very SImple Question

Thank you Bruce. You can see why I asked the question. I'm also looking forward to working with you when I become more advanced and get in PFC.

Thanks again

Simple for you but it means a great deal to me.

In the "Bar" section of each graph is a numeric value that is title, with a drop-down label, as "Volume Bar". I assume this is the volume for that security for the stated time period only. In other words, if I am looking at a "1 minute chart" it is the volume per minute and if its a "Dail Chart" it is the volume for the. I know the number is stated x/100 but it is criical for meto know exactly what his number means since my choice of buys and sells is highly dependent of volume and price volitility.

Sorry for the simple question but it is incredibly important for me to understand my sorts.

As usual, thanks in advanmce for you help.

It 's interesting that BOP was not readily recognozed by very experienced TA people and you explain the reason in this posting; it's proprietary. As you know, I am a new user and this information was extremely useful to me. Ironically it confirmed my original interpretation that BOP represents the strength or weakness of any plannned buy or sell.

Thanks Craig this was very helpful

Hi Craig:
Thanks for you input it is invaluable to me. As you can see it is 3:30AM EST and this is the first chance I'm getting to look at your comments, I will put a scan together based on your input and let you know how it turns out in the morning....I mean later.

OopsI forgot the most important as[pects of my scans. I realize that my Easy Scan will only be updated if I push the "Update" button, What I need is a current, "Real-Time" list to select stocks from. I also understand that if I select the "1 minute interval" the chart I chose will be updated automatically in "Real-Time". Once I am finished with that stock I will hit"Update" to get a new list.

Hi: I am a new user who was recommended very highly to your software by a well known technical analyst. I have a time crunch problem and would appreciate your help in creating "personal criteria formulas" for some specific items I need to scan. I am a Platinum member and I have purchased all of your available disks and books but I am involved in a critical project that must be addressed this weekend and I need this data to create an "Easy Scan" for my use on Monday morning. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is a very important issue to me.

My Overall Objective:Is to create two Easy scans to identify potential long and potential short positions using the following criteria:

All stocks (which is redily available)
Within a specific price range(readily available)
Currently highest volume trades - top 75% (need help with this one)
Greatest Price Change Per Share - Up (need help with this one)
Greatest Price Change Per Share - Down (need help with this one)

I would also like to know if I can, and how I can, change the universe to limit to Only NASDQ Stocks. I see that I can use "NASDQ 100" but I'd like to use all NASDQ stocks if possible.

I was also considering using the "BOP - Today" option to get support, power, of the price change.

Thanks in advance for you help
