Topic: Stop Loss Calculation
Posted: Thursday, April 24, 2008 5:07:07 PM
Is the numeric value of the width of Bolinger Bands available anywhere in Telechart?  I want to calculate and plot a value for stop losses using the formula MINL5-width/2 where width is set to 10 to produce one standard deviation of the price.  Any way to do that?

Hi Craig,

I enjoyed your presentation in Denver very much. It was time very well spent.

Your presentation was top notch and very professional. You have some wonderful presentation tools too, which you're obviously very skilled at using.

Topic: Sort by ROE
Posted: Friday, December 22, 2006 12:25:54 PM
I'm trying to find a quick way to assess whether a stock is overvalued or undervalued. To do this, I need to sort by Return on Equity (ROE). ROE=Earnings/Shareholders Equity. The earnings numbers are available in Telechart, but I haven't been able to get to anything that gives Shareholders Equity, or Book Value, for a stock. So I haven't been able to put together a useable PCF and generate the sort. Right now, I have to go to other sources to get Shareholder's Equity or ROE and then put together a separate spreadsheet for the stocks I own. Is there any way to do this stuff in Telechart?
