I would like to look for the method in strategy scanning that will detect whether the current moving average is on the rise/fall. Using this method, I can compare other rising and falling moving averages as well. Sort of trying to find the stacking moving average.

I know it is probably very simple, but I just need a little more hand holding. Thanks!

Absolutely enjoyed your eye opening demo. I have had Blocks since SnapSheet and really have gone nowhere until I saw how you unlock the power of Block. I have been staying up everynigh since last Saturday learning the tool. I am sure that I'll have plenty of questions, but I'll leave them for another topic.

Thanks again!

How can I put a name in the middle and lower pane to label the custom indicators that I made? It is hard to realize what the indicator is used for after a while.

Thanks!

Excellent suggestions diceman!!!! That is a very smart way to display the current value by adding a new value field.

Also thanks to all the replys. I now know why there are so many lines on the window. I'd prefer using number on top instead of those lines now.

Great help indeed!

Thanks Craig. That was a quick response.

I only have the followings in my top pane:

Price Chart
50MA
20MA
200MA
BBands 20,20
LinReg 50
Stoch 39,5,1
RSI 14

I used to have more, but removed most of them now. The price chart gets very clutter if I have too many indicators set up. These horizontal line seem to stick around even when they are "invisible".

I seems to me that I cannot do the following things in TeleChart:

(1) Draw trend lines in the middle and bottom pane

(2) Display the actual value of indicators established in the middle and lower pane. I understand that using the [.] character can switch them on, but only limited to indicators that are established in the top pane.

(3) There are numerous extra horizontal lines in the top pane. I guess they are related to the indicators being used in the top pane. How can I turn them off without removing the needed indicator?

Any idea how I can turn them on? Thanks!
Topic: Fibonacci Retracement from 52 weeks high
Posted: Friday, November 4, 2005 10:44:00 AM
I am new to TC2005 as well as doing technical analysis. I recently read somewhere about doing stock scans that look for stocks that are retraced from or at its 52 weeks high.

I'd like to configure some PCF so I can adjust such parameters as Fibonacci Retracement level, and time frame. I'm sure that there might be more to fine tune, but I just don't know where to begin.

Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
