How do I get an answer to my question of August 29 of deleting old personal notes w/o the trash can icon associated w/ it?

I'm trying to clean up my TC software by deleting old Personal Notes, old scans, etc. How do I delete a Personal Note that does not have a 'trash can' icon associated with it? It seems that notes prior to a certain time in the past do not have 'trash can' icons.

Thanks a lot!

Now can you tell me what "SGN" stands for and basically what the formula says and how it applies? I think I said that right.

Hi,
I'm generally pretty good at writing PCFs, but this one has me stumped.

I want to create a PCF for the 3 SMA crossing the 18 SMA to be used on a weekly chart.

I know that PCFs run on a daily charts w/ daily data, but what numbers do I use for that PCF to run on a weekly chart.

I would put this PCF in the Sort and play it against a large list of stocks or include it in a EasyScan w/ other criteria.

Thanks,

Topic: WatchList Tracking
Posted: Saturday, January 28, 2006 2:15:29 AM
I am presenting/teaching TC2005 to an Investment Club in Sun City West, AZ. Several members use Quotes Plus (removed by Moderator) as a charting software and they like it becuse they can download their portfolio into an Xcel spreadsheet. I believe that TC2005 can match this feature only better.

Can I emulate this using WatchList Tracking?? In WatchList Tracking can I have the Entry Price be the price I paid for the stock on the day I enter it into my WatchList or is it only the closing price of the day the stock is entered into the WatchList.

I know I can export as txt a WatchList, but that is only the price of the stock that day.

Help me out. I know I can show the group that TC2005 is better than Quotes Plus. Tell me how to made a WatchList w/ price paid in the data.

Topic: List Rank vs. Market Rank

What is the difference between List Rank and Market Rank which are used in the building of criteria of an EasyScan?

I built an EasyScan for All Stocks and in the 4 criteria where a choice was avaiable I used List Rank. The number of stocks that came up was 8. I then changed the available choice on the 4 criteria (all pre-built System sorts) to Market Rank. This time I only got 3 stocks. Why? Why the difference?

The criteria used were:
Price Growth Rate 1-year
Price Percent Change 1 Month
Price Moving Average - 5 Days
MoneyStream Surge - 1 Week
All set for the top 20%.
