How can I write a formula that shows a stock that has been basing for 5 days then increases following last closing day with volume then increseing 1.255

I need you define this more for me. What makes a stock "basing" in your mind? Is the lastest close up from the recent close or up relative to the previous highs? I am not sure what you mean by this (can you elaborate more?):

the formula i want is having a stock flat for 5 days in a row, then its next closing days trade it increases above the last close price with closing volume 1.25%greater than the previously days close.

Here is a start:

Create these PCFs:

5-day range vs. 50-day range:

(MAXH5-MINL5)/(MAXH50-MINL50)*100

Volume Percent Change:
(V-V1)/V1*100

Now create an EasyScan with the following conditions and limits:

Price Percent Change Today
(Value 0 to MAX)

Volume Percent Change:
(Value 1.25 to MAX)

Sort the resulting WatchList in ASCENDING order by 5-day range vs. 50-day range

What settings do you do for each scans? value, rank, etc and how much for each?

Under each condition above I say "VALUE" and the limit (0 to MAX),etc.
