Can a PCF be create to alert/pass when the ADX slope goes from positive to negative? And/or possible change of the rate at which it is increasing/decreasing?

really would lke the first PCF, when ADX slope is positive, and when it is negative.

thanks!

I do not know of a way to create a Personal Criteria Formula for ADX or its slope which is short enough and fast enough to be practical or post in the forums.

You can however create a condition for the slope of the ADX switching from positive to negative by adding a 2-Period Simple Moving Average to ADX. Then click on ADX and select Create Scan Condition to create a Condition for the ADX crossing down through its 2-Period Simple Moving Average.

Create Conditions from Your Chart

The reverse is just a matter of cheking for the ADX to be crossing up through its 2-Period Simple Moving Average instead of down.

Nothing pops to mind as to a good way to determine if the slope is changing by a certain amount in general.

Then Is it possible to create a PCF which alerts/true when the ADX crosses +/- its 2-day SMA?

No, it is not. You can create two individual conditions for crossing up or crossing down by clicking on the chart and selecting Create Scan Condition as described above, but I cannot think of a way to create a single condition or EasyScan which would check for crossing up or cross down at the same time.
