Thanks in advance.......I would like to understand what calculations are used in the Rank function?
I've been measuring sub-industry Ranks vs All Industries......all some of the results just do not seem right in terms of strong vs weak sectors.

The Industry RANK vs All Industries indicator calculates a Rate of Change (Percent) indicator for all of the industries in the Morningstar US Industry Groups WatchList.
The indicator then sorts the Morningstar US Industry Groups WatchList by the calculated Rate of Change (Percent) indicator.
The resulting percentile rank is just a matter of where the Sub Industry or Main Industry falls in the sort.

Thanks Bruce for that reply.
What is the look back period for the Rate of Change?

The period of the rate of change is user adjustable but is 50 when the indicator is first added to the chart.
